This morning I noticed that the perfume bottle that holds my favorite fragrance perfume was getting a little low and I made a mental note to order a new bottle in the next day or so. I figure I have at least a couple of weeks use left in the perfume bottle, but I definitely don’t want to run out. I have a lot of cooking to do this morning for the block party that we are having down the street later today, so I don’t really have a lot of time to spend online at my favorite website for fragrance perfume, but maybe I can either order some tonight, or maybe tomorrow morning. Thankfully I don’t have a lot planned in the next couple of days so I should have plenty of time to order the fragrance perfume, plus look for a birthday gift for my sister. When I think of warm spring days and happy memories, one of my triggers comes in the form of a beautiful women's perfume. Showing a significant other that you are behind them one hundred percent is pretty important. This is one of the things I’ve learned over the years. My daughter was headed out of the door at the lake house this morning and had a bottle of fragrance perfume in her hand. When I stopped in to visit my grandma yesterday, I noticed that there was an empty perfume bottle sitting on her kitchen counter. I recognized the empty perfume bottle as being her favorite scent and couldn’t help but wonder why she’d left it sitting on the counter as opposed to tossing it in the trash. When I asked her about it, she said that she’d left the perfume bottle on the counter so that she’d remember to ask either me or mom to order her a new bottle, and when you get her age if you don’t either write a note or leave a reminder, that you forget these things. I couldn’t help but smile at her, and asked if she wanted me to take the perfume bottle when I left so that I could order her some new perfume. She was thrilled that I offered and tried to give me some money. I told her I’d let her know how much it costs next time I visit, but the truth is, I have no intention of letting her pay for it. She’s done so much for me over the years, that I think the least I can do is get her the perfume.

Perfumes and colognes is one of those products like jellybeans where there is an endless assortment of flavors. There is something out there for everyone. It is the nicest season of the year as far as I’m concerned because of the cloudless weather for the most part which leaves much room for outdoor activity. So far my favorite outdoor adventure this year was rafting down a fast river in the Cascade Mountains on a 88-degree day in a kayak. I rafted the river a couple of times once in a kayak and the second time in a large six-person raft. At first, I thought it’d be easier to brave the rapids in the large raft but that was not the case as we went sideways into a surge of water that almost flipped us over. One of the younger guys who was manning the rear paddle thought falling in wouldn’t be so bad but with the water moving fast even with life vests it could turn out bad. That danger did make it pretty exciting though.

During the kayak trip, out of the entire expanse of the fast moving river one of the only birds flying above decided to dive bomb me and drop last night’s meal on my lap. I can say that was the low point of the rafting trip. Outdoor adventure doesn’t stop at the river. Last night when I came home late from work, I was surprised to find a candlelit dinner waiting for me. I was surprised that my husband had thought of such a romantic gesture, but he said he knew how hard I’d been working lately and he wanted to do something for me. Beside my plate was also a gift. When I opened it, I found a beautiful decorative perfume bottle inside. For years, I’ve talked about how I’d love to have a decorative perfume bottle that I could put my regular fragrance in. I found one in Paris years ago and I just couldn’t bring myself to pay the outrageous price they were asking, but I did take a picture of it. Surprisingly, the perfume bottle that I had opened looked surprisingly similar to the one I’d seen in Paris all those years ago. My husband said he had ordered the perfume bottle online a month or so before but was waiting for the right time to give it to me. I have to say that his timing was perfect. We had a wonderful evening, and I woke up this morning feeling completely rejuvenated.

Over this past weekend my wife and my best friends – and good old me – really had just a grand old time heading out on the town for night of fun having and cavorting around the city. I recall us getting ready to go out, and we both were sifting through our perfumes and colognes to see which ones that we wanted to wear that night. Oddly enough, for me I feel like perfumes and colognes are like that invisible accessory that you can wear when you are getting dressed to impress that truly add the finishing touches of flare to any outfit that you can choose to wear. It is almost like perfumes and colognes are staples to me whenever I am trying to look and feel my best. In accordance with that adage is that smelling my best with perfumes and colognes is tantamount to this equation.
